Tunes for Tolerance

For anyone interested, some of us are having a little get together tonight.

I’m reluctant to call it a protest, although it is inspired by the Million Hoodie Marches, because we feel it’s less a gathering against something, as it is a gathering for something.

We want to play off the message in Chaka Khan’s Super Life video, that “Fear Kills and Love Heals”

We’re calling it Tunes for Tolerance and the incredible Thomtrance is providing the location and his DJ services.

I know it will be very late for some of you, damn time zones, but we picked what worked for us. Perhaps in the future others can have events in other time zones.

You are welcome to wear a hoodie, or come as you are. Drow, Furry, Tiny, Gorean, Cyborg… all are welcome.

Tunes for Tolerance Organica – Sunday April 1st from 8 pm to 10 pm SLT

If you can relate to some of the feelings I was expressing in the previous post and have any photos of you in a hoodie, feel free to join this Flickr Group and add them here http://www.flickr.com/groups/sl-million-hoodie-march/

If you don’t have Flickr but would like your photo added you can send them to my avatar Felicity Francois and I’ll post them for you.

I got a tip about two other hoodies that might interest you.  I bought one and I love it.  They are mesh, and you’ll get 5 sizes when you buy it and a hud that can change the color of any part of it, from the hood to the waist band.  It’s pretty cool actually.
